Ok just a quick question,

I'm helping a friend redesign his UBB and I've decided to place a a navigation menu on the left hand side. I've got the navigation menu up and running no problems but I'm trying to get it so that when you click on F.A.Q on the nav menu the page opens up next to the menu (ie.doesn't open up a totaly new page)I have seen this done on other UBB's - how is it done?

I'm not sure what you're talking about, but I think you mean you just want the FAQ page to have your navigation menu and layout and stuff, right? Well, you would just have to edit the page source to include your layout and menu.

If that's not what your talking about, maybe does your faq link pop up in a whole new browser window? You can change the link target by changing target="_new" to target="_top". That will keep it in the same window.
